Katie, a mom of five, tells how she went to the Target store to buy stuff for her son’s birthday and then she saw the Elmo slippers in her baby Chloe’s size and couldn’t help but getting them for her. Katie says she’s normally not a fan of anything Character, but I guess when one sees these cute Elmo slippers one becomes a fan :-) Comments to this post also demonstrate how loved the Elmo slippers are. Homer Simpson Slippers Eat Angela’s Foot

Categories: Stories - Tags:

Angela is proud of her feet. She likes to show them to the world from different angels, with or without footwear. A clear case of fetish for feet and toes, so it seems. So, when Angela publishes a picture of her foot in a Homer Simpson slipper, it provokes quite a funny discussion. A girl nicknamed Pedicurefetish confesses her envy in Homer. And she’s not the only one…

Angela then replies with a picture of her boyfriend’s character slipper, which is really spooky. One comment really makes you think of Mr. Simpson in a different light: “Homer is a typical feet worshipper!!!”

Character Slippers for THE Grudation Ceremony?

Jeff tells in very funny terms about what he calls The Japanese Phenomenon of Indoor Shoes vs. Outdoor Shoes. He goes on to explain that every time you walk into a building you leave your outdoor shoes in a locker and instead put on indoor shoes or slippers. And in some places you are required to wear no shoes at all, like restaurants or carpeted rooms. At this point Jeff comes to the Fuzzy Slipper Syndrome. Jeff is astounded by the fact that when it comes to indoor footwear the Japanese put fashion considerations aside and prefer comfortable slippers. And this leads to the punch line of this post, where Jeff tells about the most important event of the year - the Graduation ceremony, and how formal attire of black dresses and kimonos combine with a gallery of character slippers.

Futuresis tells about his Childhood’s Character Slippers

Categories: Stories

Futuresis tells about his love for character slippers, about the pair that he got when he was in fourth grade and how strong was the emotional bond between him and his slippers. In just a few words Futuresis demonstrates that character slippers are more than a piece of apparel. They leave an emotional imprint. Pay attention to the details in his story and see how much he remembers about his slippers. At the end of his story Futuresis tells about the moment he had to say goodbye to his character slippers and throw them to the trash bin. The fact that they were all worn did not make it easier for him, for his slippers had heads and eyes and they were staring at him as he tossed them in the bin. Stories like that beautifully show why character slippers are so loved by children and adults alike.

How to Renew Your Character Slippers’ Soles

Categories: Stories

Frugal Veggie Mama is telling how she made new soles for her son’s Scooby-Doo slippers, using an old winter jacket, a worn pair of jeans and sweatpants. She traced each slipper on the different materials and sewed them together, using the denim material as the bottom, the old jacket material as the cushion, and the sweatpants material as an inner warm and soft lining for the foot. Then she sewed each new sole to the slipper itself, using a hand quilting needle. Frugal Mama says the refurbished Scooby Doo slippers made her 8 year old son happy!
